Background From 1977 to 1986 I worked in the oil fields in Wyoming. I moved to Seattle in 1987 and became a journeyman electrician. In 1991, I proudly joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In 1997 I came to a crossroads in my life while working in Portland, Oregon. I wasn't happy with the direction my life was headed and didn't know exactly where or how to start making changes. However, I had a clue that my drinking had to be part of the first steps to changing my life. First
Steps I also started my home-based business and met people with a different mind-set. I started listening to the people talk on our training calls, and hearing about the different books they were reading. However, I didn't have a lot of time to read. Then I discovered cassette tapes and CDs, and started listening to them on my drive to and from work, and during evenings at home after work. A friend also introduced me to sleep-learning, which is a way of learning by listening to tapes while sleeping. These subliminal tapes played music with affirmations that I could hear with my subconscious mind. As my personal growth expanded, I discovered I had to allow myself to change in order to enhance my life. This was just the beginning of my rewiring, both consciously and unconsciously. I now am a Certified Professional Coach and motivational speaker, generating, facilitating, and illuminating life's possibilities in all people. I'm a regular on the Stu Taylor Radio Show, "Equity Strategies and Business Talk' and am the published author of the books, Wired for Change by a Journeyman and American Worker: Prison Wagesin the Private Sector. I have nationally published articles. My credentials and training include:
